General Requirements for Law Enforcement Officers
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Minimum age is usually 21
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- No felony convictions
- Must pass a physical fitness, written entrance and oral review test
- Must pass a psychological evaluation and medical exam
